A New Year, A New Agenda

It's a new year, the General Assembly is in session, and although I would like to have been a part of it, it wasn't meant to be this year. I will be using my website to advocate greater participation in the electoral process, and will be working with others to find ways to improve the community, and to promote ideas for the good of the city, the state of Maryland and the country.

I found more than ever before, that as a moderate, if I said everything I think all the time, sooner or later I would upset everyone. As I write articles on different websites, I will post links to the articles on Facebook and Twitter. If you're interested, click on the link. If you think from the headline that an article will upset you, I might suggest that you don't read it. So many on Facebook post nothing, but angry posts. I fear many of my friends are taking years off of their lives by the stress they are putting on themselves. Life is too short to be angry all the time

Having said that, I don't have time to argue with people on Facebook. As time allows, I will provide the opportunity for civil discourse on the websites where I have articles posted. I will not posts insults or name calling. We're better than that.
